Reclaimed hardwood floors are a timeless and much sought after way to add warmth and character to any room. The appeal to antique barn wood flooring are its characteristic nail holes, color variations, and old growth grain patterns. These create visual appeal and never ending intrigue to what is such a large part of a room's look.
In addition to reclaiming barn wood lumber to make new flooring, we also recover existing floors. This reclaimed wide plank hardwood flooring comes from the floors of homes and structures that have been in place for centuries.
As a high quality reclaimed wood flooring manufacturer, we have the ability to produce many other flooring products including wide plank flooring created from responsibly harvested new wood.
Salvaged primarily from century-old barns in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Kentucky, our oak plank flooring is endowed with a naturally rich patina created by countless decades of sun, wind, and rain. Transforming this precious material into your authentic antique reclaimed barn wood floor is a labor intensive and time consuming process, but worth it. To preserve the original face of this remarkable barn wood, we use a special milling techniques that maintain all aspects of its distinctive character; including the original saw marks, color variations, random knots, nail holes, texture, and height variations. When we reclaimed antique barns that are no longer suitable or safe and need to be demolished, the interior floorboards, joist and beam timbers make the perfect material to produce our reclaimed barn wood floors.
Beyond being the most sustainable and ecologically responsible flooring option, the look is what draws us to this precious material. We produce this reclaimed hardwood plank flooring in the widths and thicknesses to your specification for your project, be it as engineered, or as a solid hardwood floor.
