By ordering samples from this listing, you will receive 3 prefinished reference planks indicative of the texture, character, patina, and final natural matte finish you might see in a full flooring order. They will be prefinished with a matte water based polyurethane as are the majority of our floors.
Since no two pieces of wood are alike, and more so with original face reclaimed wood; in no way should the sample boards received be used as a "match" to the boards found in the final order. Instead, when an order is placed we'll produce sample planks from the actual lot of material reserved for your flooring order. That way, the samples planks will in fact be from what will be used in your floor. These samples merely offer a glimpse into the beauty, quality, and variety that our reclaimed Timeworn Oak flooring offers. We made our name on this floor and think it's the most beautiful reclaimed floor available. Just ask any Designer or Builder who insist upon using our floors.
