The Vintage Wood Floor Company, an American antique lumber and vintage lumber company, is located in the heart of Southern California in Orange County east of Los Angels. With the unique opportunity for clients to visit the mill where their antique wood flooring is made, so many of our clients wanted to see where it's made in person so we moved our retail showroom out of Costa Mesa and into our state of the art manufacturing facility in Anaheim, CA. Our Vintage Wood Floor Company Showroom is in an ideal location as we're close to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Corona Del Mar, and not far from San Diego. When you're searching for antique wood flooring, Orange County, we're the only manufacturer where you can actually see your one of a kind reclaimed wood flooring being made. We've been the go-to source for reclaimed hard wood flooring Orange County and reclaimed vintage lumber in Los Angeles for over 15 years, and growing every year.
As a manufacturer, the list of what we can produce is nearly limitless but we focus on:
We mention our convenient location for several reasons. First, our customers love to schedule visits to the new & expanded shop to see their floor – both in the original state and as it’s being handmade (the transformation is spectacular.) Then there’s our showroom; it offers near life-sized displays for comparing grain patterns, color variations, and character marks. Viewing these over-sized samples can make a huge difference when it comes to selecting the material that will become a cornerstone in your home or commercial project to be admired for generations. And finally, there’s Joe, our owner. He enjoys consulting with every customer and is always ready to visit a local site to resolve any issues that may come up.
We are a reclaimed lumber supplying source to all woodcraft trades. Designers and Architects choose us to spec out materials for their builds and Builders choose us as their exclusive source for the reclaimed wood for cabinets, shelving, and other client projects. While we produce the floors from scratch, we do not offer in-home services; we'd be happy to provide you with our list of professional installers who we've come to trust and have the unique experience of working with reclaimed wood flooring. They can assist with maintaining your flooring including wood floor repair, refinishing, etc. It's important to ask if your floor is reclaimed and made from vintage wood or just appears that way and is actually hand distressed new wood.
All of our reclaimed barn wood is domestically sourced, converted and handcrafted here in our state of the art manufacturing facility. That's important to note given the rise of imported varieties where imitation aging is done to new wood for an antique look. These varieties lack authenticity and the strength of the material only found in old growth reclaimed timber. Yes, the old growth wood is actually stronger.
Although we have customers across the United States that we never have the pleasure of meeting, we take great pride in the strong relationships we’ve built in our own back yard.
