Shipping policy

If an item is to be shipped, quoted shipping rates are through external partners' (UPS, FedEx, and other couriers) calculations without any human intervention. We believe shipping rates to be accurate at the time of sale. Given the nature of wood, its varied density and other attributes affecting the shipping calculations, we may contact you if the actual shipping rate is higher than what was estimated by these partners (and paid for by you at the time of product purchase) to pay the difference. The shipping calculation is not a guarantee of the rate, it is an estimate. Once your product is made, packaged, and weighed, an actual shipping rate is able to be quoted by us through these external partners. Additionally, any issues with your delivery address provided such as additional charges for difficult or missed deliveries will be solely your responsibility.

While this is extremely rare, it is a variable to the process of custom made items and you are aware that this situation may arise and agree to pay any additional shipping costs. All orders must be paid in full, including the full cost of shipping prior to items being released. 

Custom prefinished flooring not sold in square foot lots/units is sold as random lengths, with lengths often exceeding 8 feet. Flooring orders over 100sf will always default to FREIGHT SHIPPING which requires a separate shipping quote. Shipping quotes will be provided once the floor is done and ready to ship. This is standard practice. We do not mark up the shipping beyond the cost of materials to construct pallets, and shop materials used to secure the load for shipment.
