Reclaimed Mantel Beam Texture Differences

There are three basic types of surface textures.

  • RESAWN: Clean cut face once original face has been removed
  • ROUGH SAWN: Original face with saw marks
  • HAND HEWN: Original face with axe marks

Also shown is Hand Hewn that has been smoothed with nylon brushing which slightly softens the texture.
