Please understand that in the era when these were cut, either by hand or by saw, the beams are not always exactly square so there may be some ratio variance between the side and face dimensions (e.g. 7" wide face x 8" depth, etc.).
Material is provided cleaned with nylon brush, but without additional finish or sealant. Each piece of wood is unique from the next. Images are for reference only, expect variation.
The BACK FACE and FRONT FACE are BAND SAW CUT and is a clean cut surface. Only the side faces are original face.
Definitions:

Back Face is the face that faces the wall, the back of the corbel, clean cut

Naturally, as we are cutting the shape of the corbel the face is clean cut. The back is also clean cut for an smooth mounting surface to the wall.
Reclaimed wood has inherent cracks, checks, chips, knots, remnants of insects infestation, nail and mortise holes, etc., expect yours to have all of this desired character. All of our material is kiln dried and fumigated.
