What is the difference between a herringbone and chevron patterned wood floor?
A chevron pattern has a straight seam between the two halves of the pattern, with each plank terminating at a point. A herringbone pattern is made from square end planks which alternate, leaving a perpendicular zig-zag pattern at the ends.
